Desuperheater with variable-area nozzles provides a thin water spray in a steam supply line with a wide flow range. The system consists of several nozzles with various capacities which allow high accuracy temperature control in any operating conditions. Desuperheater can be used at the cooling water input pressure of up to 18.00 MPa. This in combination with high class impermeability excludes application of additional reduction valves which are often required for such positions.
