The valves are equipped with a multistage pressure reduction and expanding axial flow labyrinth trim. This configuration provides efficient decrease of operating medium flow rate and occuring noise to allowable values. This provides an opportunity to exclude metal fatigue and flow path cavitation resulting from the valve exposure to high rates and vibration. The valves are widely used as high pressure throttles in wellheads, steam turbines bypass lines and for process units of various purpose. The flow path shape excludes deposition of debris and particles contained in the medium.
